Altitude
455 m
Team
Junior Team
Project Aarambh provided a platform for our newest members to design, build, and launch their first model rocket. The successful flight to 455 meters demonstrated their grasp of aerodynamic principles and recovery system deployment.
Mission Profile
- Objective: To demonstrate capability and gather data.
- Status: Mission Completed Successfully.
- Validation: All systems functioned as designed.
System Architecture
- Structure: Optimized for stability and weight.
- Avionics: In-house developed flight computers.
- Recovery: Parachute deployment system.
Key Achievements
- Stable flight throughout boost and coast phases.
- Successful recovery and payload retrieval.
- Verified data against theoretical models.
Team & Learning
Project Aarambh laid the groundwork for Space Club RIT's rocketry program. The team mastered
basic propulsion, aerodynamic stability, and recovery deployment, proving our capability to
build and launch functional vehicles.
